What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, read more pricing, and the bonus terms, here is at tabtrade tradetheday.com.
